newborn baby boy | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Newborn session overload of our tiny new Ryan!

At over 9 pounds, he's one of the biggest newborns that I've worked with. I thought maybe that would help him sleep deeper but no so much! He was pretty particular about which poses he would go into so I ended up spreading out my time to take his photos over a few days- the benefit and also the downside of having my own newborn model:) I kept wanting to do more! Ryan also was not a fan of the hats or being swaddled tightly but I did end up getting all the shots I wanted- hats and poses. Here are some of my favorites... (and I am still working on our lifestyle and family photos!)...

adorable newborn boy | Sandy Springs Newborn Photographer

This precious baby boy was so wonderful to photograph. He slept so well and let us get him into all kinds of poses and outfits:)

Kyle's daddy was the organizer behind this session which I think is so cool! What a proud daddy. As you can see, daddy is a big Detroit Lions fan and had this sweet newborn jersey all ready for his baby boy.

I enjoyed my time with Kyle and his momma on this morning and loved getting to know their family story as I captured tiny Kyle in photographs. Then I met Kyle's daddy and beautiful older sisters at the end of the session. Such a wonderful family, Kyle is lucky to have you all!

Thank you, Jermaine and Rachel, for allowing me to photograph these early days of your newest family member. I loved our session and these images so much (some of my favorites to date!) and I hope you will treasure them for many years to come!

Preschool Ballerinas | Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Atlanta, Dance Photographer

For the last 4 years, I have had the pleasure of teaching preschool ballet at our church as an after school elective for the preschool. Each year I have had such a wonderful group of little girls who are so sweet and enthusiastic about being beautiful ballerinas. And this year was no different! I had 7 cuties and we learned ballet through movement, balance exercises, basic ballet moves, and we even learned a couple dances (including a tap dance)!

Our end of year recital occurred this week and was a wonderful evening where we showed off everything that they've learned over the year. The girls were so excited to perform for their parents and I was so proud of the show that they put on! Before the show began, I took the opportunity to take some photos of the girls all dressed up for the big evening. Enjoy!
